Charlie is stealing our hearts!

Stephen came home with a bottle calf recently. We have all fallen in love with him! We were concerned for a week he was not going to survive. He had a few shots to overcome his sickness and we started him with a glass sprite bottle to take his milk. He had a few weeks of getting gas bubbles from the bottles, but he finally learned to suck the bottle on his own. A few weeks passed by before he met us at the stall door with his tongue curled out ready to drink. We would have to pick him up off the ground so he would drink.

The agreement was that "Charlie Norman" would be part of our ticket to Disney World one day, but by the way Lily yells for Charlie everyday I'm not sure he will leave this place soon. He wondered up to the front door of our house one day and Lily opened the door right up for him. Can you imagine the panic look on my face as she was opening? Ha!
